Say hello to this month’s $500 College Scholarship Contest winner, Jade!
Jade should be a Senior, but because she graduated high school a semester early she has spent the past semester at her local community college. She’s a 17-year-old who enjoys playing the flute and reading. She played the flute in her school’s marching band for all 4 years of high school!
Jade loves her job, which is being a Crew Trainer at McDonald’s. However, her dream job is to become a high school social studies teacher. To accomplish this goal she plans to study Secondary Education, Social Studies, and Spanish in college. Jade says that her mother encouraged her to attend college. “She is an amazing support and has always encouraged me to follow my dreams,” said Jade. She is very excited to attend Temple University in the Fall.
Jade says she uses CollegeMapper primarily for the Tips pages but that she also loves the Compare Colleges feature.
