If testing is not your strong suit, then a Fair Test School could be for you. These schools do not require applicants to submit test scores because they don’t believe it’s an accurate measure of a student’s ability to achieve in college.

If you’re a kid with solid grades, interesting extracurricular activities, some AP classes but below average test scores, you should consider applying to fair test schools. These schools respect the fact that not all students are good test-takers. They do not consider standardized tests such as the ACT and the SAT to be the best indicators of future academic success.

Check out this list of colleges across the country that are Fair Test to see if one of them is a good fit for you! http://www.fairtest.org/university/optional
Note: Make sure you check the exceptions for each school (denoted as a number next to the school name).
